Reactions

I went to the mall with a group of friends last night and after hours of doing nothing we decided to go see a movie. Unfortunately, Kung-fu Panda was the only movie playing at 11pm. Weird I know. So we went to see it. After the first fifteen minutes I let my mind wonder and contemplate why I would spend $7.50 on this. Well, while I was contemplating this one of those overly dramatic scenes came up where it gets real loud real fast. So of course I like jump in my seat. My ex boyfriend who is in the seat next to me gives me this "wow" look and asks why I'm always so jumpy. I'm not easily scared so I thought about this for a few minutes and came up with this. Actors and actresses over exaggerate everything, subconsciously mind you. I cant control jumping out of my seat. And I wasn't scared (and it happens a lot). I'm just so use to making my emotions larger that life, or at least large enough to fill the stage. These things that I have pounded into my brain follow me on or off the stage.

Godspell

Our musical this year shall be the (glorious?) .. Godspell. At first I was a little skeptical; especially with all the "keep your religion to yourself" crap going on now.
But I gave it a chance ( like I had a choice???) and listened to the music. It was actually REALLY GOOD. Auditions are being held tomorrow. I think that I am going to audition for Peggy.
So, instead of being flower children, were going to be beach bums... [Florida spin]

Since I last posted I moved out of my dads and in with my lovely grandmother while my family struggled to maintain sanity.. Not that you care much about my personal life, but its a bit of an excuse as to why my last post was long over due.

Good News!

I have a large supply of posts stored up

IE- Zap (straight show that we did), Godspell (the musical that we will be doing), Why are all the good guys gay (My LIFE)

... I wont spoil the rest.
I thought this was fitting -

Philippa Gregory: Wide Acre Series

Just recently I finished the book Meridon the last of the Wide Acre series by Philippa Gregory. It was such a thrilling series it was depressing to let it end. The whole series is about the Lacey's thrive and dependency on this land in Sexton, England. As long as you can get past the incest they are fantastic books. This land "Wide Acre" has been in the Lacey's family for generations, their desire drives them mad, to the point of murder at times. I love to read, but I'm very particular about books. It takes a seriously good book to impress me, something with depth. Anything by Philippa Gregory certainly has depth. Read it; You'll love it!

US Airways

Yesterday I flew home to the sunshine state from an airport in Philly. I have never had such a horrible flying experience in my life! I was already depressed from leaving my mother and family but this flight pushed me over the border into the homicidal territory. We left the house at seven thirty to get to Philadelphia on time. We actually got there a little early which is a first ever so we had to wait for an hour before i could board.. then the flight was delayed, another hour. So I finally get on the plane and because of technical difficulties we had to wait a half an hour before taking off. One on the plane the handed out stale pretzels and if you wanted the cheese nips you had to pay three dollars! I finally arrive then have to wait two hours for my luggage because they cant unload it if there is lightning. I didn't leave the airport until around five o'clock. I will never again in my life fly with US airways.

Forbidden Broadway: A Disney World

You might enjoy this. I did!

High School Musical

This year my drama teacher, Ms. Evans, decided that that the brilliant, fun, thrilling play that we would have the grand honor of preforming this year would be .... High School Musical ( a jump, leap, fall and crash away from Les Miserables). Well it wasn't as excruciating as I believed it would be. I auditioned for the role of the eccentric drama teacher, Ms. Darbus. I have to admit it was an incredibly fun part. For our first show it wasn't too bad........ .. . It's differently .. cheesy, but I think that it worked well to unite the group before we head into bigger and badder things (and I don't mean that as in 'quality of performance') =)
